Mahadar fassarar murya tare da karatu

Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 31

وَفَٰكِهَةٗ وَأَبّٗا

And fruit and grass



Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 32

مَّتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ

[As] enjoyment [i.e., provision] for you and your grazing livestock.



Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 33

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ

But when there comes the Deafening Blast[1]


1- The piercing blast of the Horn which signals resurrection. A§-êŒkhkhah is also a name for the Day of Resurrection.


Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 34

يَوۡمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ

On the Day a man will flee from his brother



Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 35

وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ

And his mother and his father



Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 36

وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ

And his wife and his children,



Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 37

لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ شَأۡنٞ يُغۡنِيهِ

For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.[1]


1- i.e., to occupy him. He will be concerned only with himself, thus forgetting all others.


Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 38

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ مُّسۡفِرَةٞ

[Some] faces, that Day, will be bright



Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 39

ضَاحِكَةٞ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةٞ

Laughing, rejoicing at good news.



Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 40

وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَيۡهَا غَبَرَةٞ

And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust.



Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 41

تَرۡهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ

Blackness will cover them.



Sura: ‘ABASA 

Aya : 42

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَفَرَةُ ٱلۡفَجَرَةُ

Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones.
